The car’s tire plays a crucial role in the comfort & safety of the drive. Addionally, its job is to smooth handling & braking of the car. Therefore, its regular check-up will help the tire of your vehicle run for a longer period. As tires are in direct contact with the surface, it’s a need of the hour to replace them after a certain point of time. The tires should be replaced every 5 to 6 years even though if the tread is working well. Grenlander Tyre’s company experts explains When Should you Replace your Car’s Tyre below:

Let’s Discuss the Few Regular Check-up that one Should do for safe Driving-

Tread depth-

Every tire indulges a Tread Depth Indicator that provides you a rough estimate of your tire’s life. It’s somewhere in the form of small rubber blocks on the surface of the tire. If the tread has worn out or is closing the surface, it means that the tyre needs a replacement. You should replace it asap if the tread depth comes down to 2m. In this manner, tread depth is the ultimate option for finding the life of your tire.

Old age-

Is your car’s tyre age being more than 5 years? If yes then, you need to get rid of them asap. Even if you haven’t driven it much, replacing is still important & essential. The reason for this – Tyres holds moistures & oils which is essential to ensure smooth & safe driving. With time, the oils get dry further leaving the tyres unsuitable for the road. In case, you live in a city of summers or hot climate, tyres may get damage sooner as compare to their life span.

Uneven wear-

The majority of people often face uneven wear of tires due to wrong wheel-alignment. Plus, it also happens due to under or overinflated tires. Therefore, regular inspection of the whole surface of tires is necessary. While checking the uneven wear, don’t forget to check the outer edges of the tires as well. Front tires get high wear than rear tyres. If the size of both the back & front tires is the same then, you can swap them for uneven wear & tear.

Replace full set-

Want to have better balance & a strong road grip? If yes then, we would recommend you to go for all four sets of tires replacement at the same time. It would the best ultimate option!! Rather than replacing the individual tires, go for the entire set of replacements.

Choose the Right Size Tires-
